A COMPREHENSIVE RANGE
OF COATINGS AND FINISHINGS

We offer 17 electrolytic processes in 53 different applications in a variety of plant systems using a wide range of substrates. And when faced with specific requirements from customers or the industry, we’re able to meet them with perfectly tailored solutions. Electroplating at its very best.

  • Ruthenium

Outstandingly robust and resistant to corrosion and acid – this platinum metal surface excels through its unique durability, low contact resistance and impressive resistance to wear.
  • Chrome

Whether matte, polished or black chrome – ODU’s surface coating processes ensure the decisive added value for all varieties.
  • Black chrome

The deep uniform black isn’t just low-glare – it’s also particularly stylish and corrosion-resistant.
  • Gold

Gold offers extraordinarily good throwing power, a particularly broad, shiny deposition area and optimized tribology, too – with the ODU gilding process.
  • Silver

Silver is particularly beneficial in industrial, electronic and electronic-engineering applications: The silver is deposited by means of electroplating for unsurpassed conductivity.
  • Electroless nickel

This coating process is characterized by outstanding durability and a very evenly distributed coating thickness.
  • Matt nickel

This economical yet durable variety requires no additional mechanical surface treatment, such as sandblasting.
  • Palladium

The option exists between high-gloss, decorative layers of deposited pure palladium, or, as a cost-efficient functional variety, palladium-nickel alloys.
  • Palladium-nickel

High-gloss, decorative layers of palladium-nickel provide a cost-efficient functional variety.
  • ONIP and ONIP-A

These quality surfaces developed by ODU were created to meet customer-specific requirements and offer a high degree of protection against corrosion and wear.
  • Copper

This is the top-performing copper process for steel, copper alloys and many others. Copper offers a wide range of benefits thanks to its excellent covering properties.
  • Tin

Pure tin – separated from acid, formaldehyde-free electrolytes and 100% lead-free.
Creating an even shine and suitable for soldering even after extended periods of storage.
  • Tin-nickel

Used in finishing processes with state-of-the-art rack electroplating facilities for innovative, durable surfaces.
  • Lanthanum

As an interface, this surface offers the very best in corrosion resistance while also providing the foundation for a wide variety of subsequent processing techniques.
